At Ebony Horse Club we use horses to raise the education, life skills, well-being and aspirations of young people growing up in some of the most disadvantaged communities in south London. We teach riding and horse care, take groups to outdoor events and on residential trips, and mentor children experiencing significant challenges in their everyday lives.
Building lifetime memories
"I remember seeing the stables being built from the balcony where I live, so I came down and found out how I could learn to ride. It's changed the way I feel about life."
HRH The Duchess of Cornwall celebrates 21 years of horse riding for children in Brixton
HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, President of Ebony Horse Club, made an official visit to the community riding centre in Brixton, to meet the young urban riders, families and supporters marking the 21st anniversary since the charity began.
